dc.description.abstract Farming systems research must critically assess why and how farmers allocate resources, including family labour and purchased inputs to different on farm activities. An effort must be made to understand the seasonally of input requirements for such farming enterprise or ''subsystem'' and to understand how external factors influence the farmers in making certain decision. i) To disseminate technologies in extra portion areas for increasing farm output and income ii) To promote integrated approach to increase farm productivity iii) To improve farming skill of the extension provides as well as farmers iv) To enhance/strengthen linkage among researcher's extension providers and farmers to expedite technology transfer process v) To develop agri-business and enterprenuership in farming. en_US
