dc.description.abstract The present study will assess the impact of technologies developed and adopted by fish farmers. The information generated will help the government to judiciously screen the different technologies, to support and expand desirable ones, to augment aquaculture production and to improve the socioeconomic condition of fish farmers. Economic benefit from fish culture, and consumption of fish and nutritional status will be determined which will help in transferring and introducing BFRI technologies to fish farmers. Dissemination through extension workers and NGOs and rate of adoption of technologies will be analyzed. Objectives of the study: To assess the impact of BFRI technologies in increasing economic benefit from aquaculture. To determine the household consumption of fish and nutritional status of fish farmers. To examine the adoption rate of technologies generated by BFRI. en_US
