dc.description.abstract The present study is an attempt to identify the present level of technology of maize used by the farmers, its profitability and the constraints to its higher production. The specific objectives were 1. To know the farm resources and their utilization under possession of summer maize farms. 2. to determine the existing agronomic practices followed by different categories of farmers in the survey areas. 3. to estimate the cost and return of summer maize cultivation. 4. to know the magnitude of labour employment in summer maize cultivation. 5. to suggest the future research areas for summer maize cultivation. en_US
