Abstract:
The first is to provide information on the NARS Monpower Development Programmes administered by the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC). This information should make it easier for NARS scientists, administrators, and technicians to apply or be nominated for training programmes financed by the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) and donors. The second is to provide guidelines for implementing the Human Resources Development (HRD) component of the NARS long range Strategic Development Plan. To achieve these objectives, this Handbook provides the NARS Institutes with information of the training regulations, practices, and procedures administered by BARC and the forms and documents used to nominate and process candidates for training. Further may be obtained from Manpower and Training Unit of BARC.
